Tax-Free Childcare Update

Further to our news item on 28th May 2014 regarding the changes to the Childcare Voucher Scheme from Autumn 2015, we wanted to make you aware of the latest development.

The additional Tax-Free Childcare consultation which ran from May-June 2014, focussed on the provision of childcare accounts within the new scheme.

The government has considered the responses to both consultations and the evidence on all of the options. The government’s decision remains unchanged and National Savings and Investment (NS&I) will be the scheme’s account provider, working in partnership with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
